Find My Family - Josh

November is Adoption Awareness and Orphan Awareness month. We have spent a lot of time working with and advocating for orphans over the last two years. So this for November we are sharing a video about 1 child that is still waiting for their family to find them.

Josh is five-year-old boy who has been at Bethel for just six weeks. He came to us with some delays and very poor muscle tone. He could roll over from a laying down position, but couldn’t walk or sit up. In a very short time, he has learned to sit up and can now stand with support. We are so proud of him and we are very excited to see him learn to walk in the near future! He has also learned to feed himself.

Josh has learned some simple language and can get his teacher’s attention when he wants something. He just celebrated his birthday and loved eating cake and getting a stuffed penguin as a present. He likes music and he’s learning how to dance to the beat. He is affectionate and sweet with his caregivers. We would love to see Josh in a forever family of his own!
