Ongoing travel disruptions continue amid US-Iran conflict

Key airport hubs including Dubai and Doha were closed for a third day on Monday, stranding tens of thousands of passengers and disrupting thousands of flights.

Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong said about 115,000 Australians are stuck in the Middle East as Israel launched fresh strikes on Tehran and Iran responded with more missile attacks.

Dubai is the world’s busiest international hub. It handles more than 1,000 flights a day between Europe and Asia through tightly scheduled connecting flights.
