Surviving WW2: Memoirs of a 95 year old German soldier

18 year old Herbert Scherer was drafted into the German army and was sent to the Eastern Front. 18 months later he was captured and sent to Siberian death camps for 4.5 years. He shares about his experience on the frontlines and what he believes to be the secret to his survival. It is a sobering and extraordinary story faith and survival.
