Rollei 35 T - Lomography Color 100 35mm film - loading and first images

Welcome back to Tinker Time Treehouse, a place for hobbies, builds, reviews and tests. Today I'm taking a look at the Rollei 35 T. It's T refers to the Tessar lens by Carl Zeiss, made by Rollei. The original was made in Germany, and this model is the same spec as the German one but made in Singapore. At the same time they released the S with a different lens (and a different shutter?).

Just a quick look at basic operations and loading film. Follow up is the first two rolls of film that I have shot with the camera. Both rolls Lomography Color 100 35mm film (expired 2009).

5:30 - First Roll of Film - Lomo Color100
6:26 - Second Roll of Film - Lomo Color100

** the first roll... I advanced the film past it's end and with the Rollei's strong gear teeth it ripped through the perforations on the film. I had to rewind the film in my dark bag, and a fair number of shots were lost due to torn film :/

* second roll made for yet another discovery! I had not rewound the film counter fully before butting the 'back' back onto the camera after loading the film. when the counter reached 36, but I still had shots left on the roll, I believe that the counter created resistance on the film and gave me the double exposures/ overlapping images.

Lots learned this time around on Tinker Time! Stay tuned for more film tests, camera tests and other fun Tinkers coming soon!

I make my own music using old sound machines, samplers, the Korg MonoTribe, a budget synth.
