This is a job you can undertake if you are practically minded.
DO ONE SIDE AT A TIME.
It is best to soak all the nuts and bolts in WD40 a few days before the job is undertaken. The repacement springs (unless new) should be seen on the donor car first to see how the car sits. I bought mine secondhand from David Green. I stripped the leafs, rust treated with "Hydrate" heavily greased with "Marine Grease" but any graphite/heavy grease will suffice.
In between the leaf springs are disc like shims. Some people leave these out but I used some new, slighty smaller one. You can still use the old ones though unless they are shot to pieces. The leaf springs were then wrapped in "Denso" tape. It might be better to wrap them after the springs on the car. (less messy on the hands)
