Sugar River Trail - Wisconsin

The Sugar River State Trail in Wisconsin is a 24-mile rails-to-trails link between Brodhead and New Glarus. It’s a flat, mostly gravel trail the meanders through the countryside of south central Wisconsin. The trail travels through Albany and Monticello, where you can find bathrooms, water, etc. along the way. A WI State Trail Pass is required to use the trail.

This is quick time lapse video of the trail from New Glarus to Brodhead in July 2021. It was a hot day (heat index was about 100 F) when I rode it. I was grateful that much of the trail is shaded. Filmed with a GoPro Hero 8 (Timewarp 15x, 1080p).
