Increased chance of cold this winter? – The Weather Studio

Last week, the temperature in the stratosphere above the North Pole soared by more than 60 Celsius in just a few days.

Clare and Aidan will be speaking to Met Office scientist Dr Jeff Knight on what’s caused this dramatic warming high above the Arctic and why it increases the chance of cold weather in the UK during the second half of winter.
