Glastonbury, England - Glastonbury Abbey, Tor and The Chalice Well

This is Glastonbury, England and three of the most popular tourist attractions in the town - Glastonbury Abbey, Glastonbury Tor and The Chalice Well. Rich in history and tradition, Glastonbury has the added mystery of the King Arthur Legend. Monks from the Abbey claimed his burial place in the 12th century while others feel the Glastonbury Tor is Avalon, the legendary resting place of the mythical king. This video visits all three sites and discusses a little about the Arthurian legend and the history of these places based on writings and archeological finds.

First we visit the ruins and expansive grounds of the stunning abbey. We then climb to the top of Glastonbury Tor to see the Tower, the only thing left of a former church. Nearby the Tor, we finish the day in the peaceful Chalice Well, with iron-rich water and beautiful gardens,
