I've been a John Candy super fan my whole life. This documentary dream started in 2018 when we wanted to create a tribute reel on the 25th anniversary of the day John Candy left us. And Maximum Effort's Bryan Rowland cut together a beauty. This documentary has been worth the wait because the journey was just as good as the film.
This dream was a shared one. And wouldn't exist without Chris Candy, Jennifer Candy-Sullivan, the wonderfully talented Colin Hanks, George Dewey, Shane Reid, Sophia Travaglia, Ashley Fox, Johnny Pariseau, Patrick Gooing, Sean Stuart, Glen Zipper — and all the good folks at Amazon Studios for their collaboration and celebration of John Candy.
