How fast is a 7 years old $15,000 SSD in 2020?

Today we are taking a look at the $15,000 LSI Warpdrive 3.2TB. It has 8 mini SAS drives in RAID0 to achieve astonishing performance back when it's released in 2013 when NVMe wasn't quite a thing.

It is not as fast as the latest NVMe drives for sure, but it has much better reliability and endurance compares to most drives today, even including the enterprise SSDs.

It might not be something I will be using as a daily drive, but it's certainly a very cool piece of tech.
