Small homebuilt gas turbine engine

This is a project I built 2 years ago. The core of the engine is a small ball bearing turbo from a Subaru Legacy. The combustor is built from mild steel tube and has a vapouriser system that lets it run on jet A fuel using low pressure injection via syringe needles. It starts on gas to warm the combuster then liquid fuel is fed into it via a small gear pump with a PWM style speed controller. Ignition is fron a automotive spark plug and coil. The spark is turned off after the starting gas ignites.
The turbo core is lubricated by 5w30 oil fed by an electric gear style pump at 50 psi. The beauty of the ball bearing turbo is that you dont need high oil pressure like conventional turbo hydro bearings. The small turbo is fast to respond to changes in fuel supply. It will increase and decrease speed like a piston engine due to it's relativly low inertia.
I built this engine after looking at lots of other designs on the internet. I wanted it to run on turbine fuel because I love the smell! Most similar turbines I found run off a gas bottle so I combined the combuster vapouriser system commonly used with model aircraft turbines with this engine.
It is built from cheap parts that are easily sourced.
This engine is still under developement after being stored for the last year so I will post some more vidios when I can.
