Shortchanging a Club Member

The plaintiff says while he was president of his social club, he renovated the club’s kitchen. He claims when the showoff defendant took over as president, he ripped off the plaintiff for the balance he’s owed, so he’s suing. The defendant says the plaintiff illegally loaned the club tens of thousands of dollars at a high interest rate, so he’s countersuing for overpaid interest.
