Creating THE SIMPSONS: An Animated History of Matt Groening

This is the story of how Matt Groening struggled through life in the late 70s. While working odd jobs, he vented his frustrations by drawing a comic strip based his life experiences, about an anthropomorphic bunny living in Los Angeles.

The gradual success of the strip eventually lead Matt to meeting Hollywood Producer James L. Brooks. Brooks wanted Matt to pitch him some ideas for some animated shorts for the Tracey Ullman Show.

But the story on how he came up with The Simpsons was not as clearcut as you think!
