Tom decided to get an Air-Source Heat Pump for his kitchen, as it was the coldest and most unevenly heated room during the cold months. After installation, the kitchen became the most popular room in the neighborhood all year round; benefiting from even heating AND cooling. So naturally, another two heat pump units were installed on the property. One to condition the rest of the main house, and the cottage next door. The dehumidification feature of the heat pump improved the cottage’s indoor air quality so much that Tom’s next door neighbor didn’t have to use his oxygen tank anymore!
