The team at MIT’s DesignX asked residents of cities around the world. Here are a few answers that show how problems—and opportunities to make things better—are everywhere you look. This is the spirit of DesignX.
DesignX is an entrepreneurial accelerator for endeavors from MIT’s School of Architecture and Planning. SA+P students in Architecture, Urban Studies & Planning, Media Lab, Center for Real Estate, and Art Culture & Technology are among the most creative and entrepreneurial at MIT. They have started over 560 firms that are innovating changes in cities and the built environment worldwide.
