Navigating the next wave of change | Joel Tan | TEDxYouth@SAJC

Joel would be sharing his views on Fintech and its impact on the financial service sector. In the recent years, we have seen the rise of Artificial Intelligence, chat bots and smartphone applications in consumer banking and other financial services platforms. With further technological advancements, he believes that this will inevitably disrupt the sector and change how the finance sector delivers products to consumers Joel graduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree in Economics and is also a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®/S) with more than a decade of experience in wealth management. On top of taking care of private, corporate and offshore clients, he leads a growing team of dynamic consultants at Zenith Alliance to do likewise, and to go beyond their best. Joel is also passionate about the needs of the elderly in the community and serves regularly in his grassroots constituency with other young working adults through youth led projects and initiatives. In his free time, he enjoys a good cup of coffee, karaoke and traveling with family and friends.
