3 Days Solo Wild Camping in the Lake District National Park

I'm spending 3 days in the wild solo backpacking in the UK. I've chosen the Lake District as my wild camping location. My plan is to do some serious hiking in the Lakes taking in many of the Alfred Wainwright Summits in the stunning lake district national park. I'm solo wild camping so I've got all my wild camping gear with me as I need to be totally self-sufficient. Backpacking for 3 days won't be easily especially as I'll be solo camping in the rain and wind.

I'm using the Tarptent Scarp 1 as my backpacking tent. It's a four season tent that can withstand bad weather conditions whilst wild camping in heavy rain and strong winds. My Leki trekking poles are really helping with the thru hiking and my Osprey Atmos 65 backpack bag enables me to carry my camping gear comfortably.

My wild camp spot was Little Hart Crag at 637 metres above sea level. I've never seen anyone wild camping at this spot before. Is an absolutely stunning solo camping location.

The Wainwrights in Part 2 include:
Angletarn Pikes
Birks
St Sunday Crag
Fairfield Peak
Hart Crag
Dove Crag
Little Hart Crag

These are part of the Eastern Fells in the Lake District.

Part of thru hiking the Wainwright Fells is to show you what you can achieve when out backpacking in the uk. a thru hike with a heavy backpack bag isn't easy but it can be done with a little perseverance and determination.
