Business messaging and Space - The Unlikely Combination!

Hey guys! Here we are with another episode of ‘What's Up!’. And this time I have Daniela Jovic with me. Business Messaging is what it’s about mainly today.. Daniela Jovic is from Slovakia and she lives in Croatia, working for Messente Communications. How are you Daniela? Hi Luna! It’s very nice to be here. I’m doing well! I just came back from my HQ, visiting the wider team. My team is in Estonia and it's been a busy week. How about you? Oh the same, I mean I didn't go to Estonia, I haven't been there yet, but I need to go. I had a busy week but here in London. Business Messaging as well! We had the Bank Holiday and although technically it is the end of the summer, I don't think we had the summer here this year. Yes, it's been a little bit different with the weather changing all the time and I’ve seen all the seasons in such a short space of time! Sunny in Barcelona, then visiting Estonia, jumping to a different season, and now still sort of having nice weather here in Croatia and hopefully seeing a little bit more of the summer. We met each other in Barcelona which was amazing. Your first experience at the huge World Mobile Congress right? Yes. and then now we are going to Madrid right? In two-three weeks on the 23rd of september, I'm gonna see you there? Yes, definitely! Me and my whole team. We’re coming with a rather large team and we took a booth, so see you there, for sure! Exactly. I’ll go to your booth this time we're not going to have a booth, then I have a table. It's going to be me and my colleague Natalia. Tell us more about what exactly you do in Messente: who is your company, what do you do? So, yeah, Messente we are definitely rather a smaller player in the messaging industry but for many years we've been focusing on enterprise sales only. But now we figured that our coverage and our platform are really good, and now let's sell it a little bit internationally. So we are tackling the trading part a little bit more. And to be honest, it's going really well, our revenue doubled, when it came to the last year. And my own role in our team is about creating global opportunities for our own team, but also for the sales team. And I have some other side projects too. I’m leading the Africa region, so I'm head of Africa and then of course I'm also a Linkedin ambassador.I feel that Linkedin is a great tool that can be utilized to great effect in the Messaging industry.
