"Minimum trade sizes" refer to the minimum amount of money you are allowed to use to open a trade on any given asset. So the minimum trade sizes for stocks is different from the minimum trade size for Forex, or the minimum allowed trade size for commodities, or ETFs, or indices.
A big question for new traders is whether Etoro is safe for new traders... Is Etoro risky for beginners - a safe place to learn trading? The minimum trade sizes have been raised and this does impact beginners on Etoro.
Part of the difference in minimum trade sizes is due to the different volatility and therefore leverage you are allowed to use on different assets. An asset which belongs to a market with low volatility (which means a market where there aren't usually big swings up and down in value) usually has greater leverage on offer to make up for the lack of volatility, and since on Etoro the minimum trade sizes relate to "Exposure" which is (leverage X invested amount) assets with low volatility have the highest minimum trade size requirements.
