Do we get the full amount of the dividend on Etoro? Unfortunately, we only get a certain proportion of the total dividend payout on Etoro, depending on the nationality of the equities we're investing in.

I also discuss some of the risks which can be encountered by novice traders around dividends. By attempting to trade stocks specifically focusing on short term trades just to take advantage of a certain stock's dividend date, they can expose themselves to quite a lot of risk...
