ROCK STEADY - Aretha Franklin | Drum Cover Play Along By Dov

You can't really hear what Bernard is doing too well on the original and there are subtle changes to what I'm doing here. I've been working on the groove a while there's a certain lope that's very hard to recreate than anyone but the original groove master!
When you start learning the groove there's a temptation to put a syncopated er bass drum before the snare but there's none of that here like with the JB grooves it swings without.
Using my Craviotto snare and Yammy Hipgig with Istanbul Agop 30th.
