ANGOLA - Bheki Mseleku | Drum Cover by Dov Skipper

This track Angola is off one of my all-time favourite albums Celebration, the first album by Bheki Mseleku as band leader. I discovered the album when it came out in 1992 and was fortunate enough to see the band play at the Jazz Cafe in London. I was blown away by Marvin Smitty Smith's incredible drumming and after rediscovering the album in later years, fully appreciating the compositions of one of the greatest jazz musicians, Bheki Mseleku. Timelessness is another great album and recommend checking out his music.
