Whistle Breath: Clear Negativity & Boost Vitality with 5-Min Pranayama Exercise
The Whistle Breath, a pranayama exercise, is excellent for dispelling negativity from the mind and body while ventilating the lungs and cleansing the system. This technique gets its name from the whistling sound produced during inhalation and the pursed-lips position used.
Perform this pranayama in either a standing or seated position for optimal results. Ideally, practice this breath at the end of your yoga session, just before Savasana, as your asana practice helps release toxins and negativity from the body. Duration: 5 min
Benefits: Enhances lung capacity, stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, increases vitality, and promotes self-healing and inner calm.
Contraindications: Refrain from practicing this breath if you experience chronic chills or constipation.
