Mangia Sano & Parla Italiano - Eat Healthy & Speak Italian at Eataly, NYC with IACE

A new, exciting program for kids who study Italian, organized by IACE, the Italian American Committee on Education in collaboration with Eataly, the gourmet Italian food shop. It's a two-hour class at Eataly in New York: during the first hour, the students do a "scavenger hunt" visiting Eataly's marketplace, looking for fresh ingredients and tasting the products. In the second hour, in "La Scuola Piccola" they learn how to cook fresh pasta; they discover how good "pinzimonio" tastes with seasonal vegetables, and they learn the basic vocabulary of Italian cuisine.
