With the Ferry ($ 2.75) from 90th Street to Rockaways (changing boat at Wall Street) = almost two hours with spectacular views of Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. A very long boardwalk in Rockaways, immense beaches and then the Jacob Riis Park, where there is a memorial to Ms Colombia (the lawyer Osvaldo Gomez), a character loved by the New York LGBT community. Never seen before: a baptism into the ocean! Birdwatching and dolphin sighting. Carnival parade in a neighborhood of Breezy Point, which celebrates the mythical 1969, from Woodstock to the mission on the Moon!
