Another topic we touched on whilst filming the British Uplands podcast series, was predator control. It often feels very emotive, especially for me having a background in Animal Behaviour specialising in predators, but it’s also the reality of land management around the world and the uplands are no exception.

In grouse moorland, predator control helps to protect ground nesting birds. If this type of land management is removed, there maybe consequences on other species too.
