1) Start slowly - No rush!! There is no need to put in serious money in the account and start hammering placing trades. You need to learn - analyse the pure price and don't get carried away with indicators. Commit to taking notes for the first few months.
2) Don't treat it like usual learning. This is not like anything else you want to learn. There is a big void that you can't fill in with knowledge like trading discipline and experience.
3) Create your own method. Don't worry what other people are doing but decide where you want to go and stick to it for a while.
4) Focus on study/learn from mistakes. Learn from what you have done wrong.
5) Be realistic - both in time and money. If you only have a small amount of money then forget that you will become a millionaire in the forseeable future by trading.
