5 minutes of rest between sets might sound like a lot, and most sets during your bodybuilding workout aren't going require that much - but if you never feel like you need to rest for 5 minutes and you're just sailing through every training esession 100% ready to go after 1-2 minutes on every lift - then your training intensity almost certainly isn't high enough to build muscle at your full potential. There's nothing unusual about resting for 5 minutes or even longer after an especially challenging all out muscle building set, and there's no need to stick to some consistent set in stone rest time either since your recovery needs will vary depending on the specific bodybuilding exercise you're doing, RPE/RIR and how you're feeling on any given day. Just do your set, and then rest as long as you need to in order to fully recover so that you can execute the next set at your full muscular potential.
