Yes, its the Valhalla vs Odyssey smackdown you’ve been waiting for. Or rather, some preliminary thoughts from our time in the East Anglia region of Ac Valhalla’s map. Our full verdict will wait for our full AC Valhalla review in November when this pulls up on our shores. For now we’re enjoying all the tweaks: the return of cleaner stealth, the fact that there is less loot to deal with and the way collectibles can have a big impact on Eivor. For this gameplay AC Valhalla was played on a remote PC, which is Matthew’s excuse for some wonky defensive action - he blames the lag.
