Cシリーズの初代として1993年にデビューし2000年まで製造された。
デザイナーはオリビエ・ブーレイで、セダンとステーションワゴン2モデルがラインナップされた。

1997年にマイナーチェンジされ、フロント＆サイド＆リアにエアロパーツを装着、テールレンズがスモークカラーに変更されると共に、インパネはC200はポプラのウッドが奢られていた。

ミッションは電子制御5速ATを搭載し、デュアル&サイドエアバッグ、ブレーキ力を高めるブレークアシストや駆動輪のスリップを抑えるASR、ABSを装備。

搭載される直列4気筒DOHCエンジンは、1998ccの排気量から、最高出力 136ps/5500rpm、最大トルク19.4kg・m/3700～4500rpmを発揮した。

It debuted in 1993 as the first generation of the C series and was manufactured until 2000.
Designed by Olivier Bouley, the line-up included a sedan and a station wagon.

It underwent a minor change in 1997, with aero parts installed on the front, sides, and rear, the tail lens changed to smoke color, and the C200 instrument panel was treated with poplar wood.

The transmission is equipped with an electronically controlled 5-speed AT, equipped with dual and side airbags, brake assist that increases braking force, ASR that suppresses slipping of the drive wheels, and ABS.

The installed in-line 4-cylinder DOHC engine produced a maximum output of 136ps/5500rpm and a maximum torque of 19.4kg/m/3700-4500rpm from a displacement of 1998cc.
