Hwange National Park Full Moon Game Count 🌕 #Shorts

Could it get any better than counting wildlife under the pearly light of an African moon in Hwange National Park? 🐘🌕

Zimbabwe media personality Rumbie Takawira joined IFAW for the annual Full Moon Game Count at Hwange this week, to count and record the variety of wildlife visiting waterholes over a 24-hour period over the last full moon of the dry season. Hwange National Park has no permanent water supply and, during the dry season, wildlife is entirely reliant on artificially filled waterholes to sustain them. IFAW helps ensure wildlife have a secure water supply by supporting Zim Parks in their work to keep pans and waterholes deep and full during the dry season. @WildAid
