Coinless, CC, & CCC Challenges [OUTDATED]

I show the current standings for the coinless challenge, the capless/cannonless (CC) challenge, and the coinless/capless/cannonless (CCC) challenge. Note that nothing in this video is new; rather, this video merely serves to organize and showcase all of the workaround strats that have already been found.

These are the final results:
Coinless/Capless/Cannonless (CCC): 82 stars (single star basis), 81 stars (full game run)
Coinless: 82 stars (single star basis), 81 stars (full game run)
Capless/Cannonless (CC): 119 stars

If we exclude the red coin stars and 100 coin stars, then this leaves 82 stars that aren't coin-based. All 82 of these stars are possible for the CCC and coinless challenges on a single star basis. However, the star Snowman's Lost His Head in CCM cannot be collected in a full game run of one of these challenges, since that star can only be collected in the course version that you get when you select that specific star, and that star isn't selectable until after CCM's red coin star has been collected. Consequently, only 81 stars are possible for a coinless or CCC full game run. For CC, all stars except WMotR red coins can be collected, since that star requires the use of both the wing cap and the cannons.

Note that I defined capless as not collecting any caps, and I defined cannonless as not using any cannons. However, some might prefer a stricter definition: defining capless as not unlocking any caps, and defining cannonless as not unlocking any cannons. To clarify the difference: In the definition I used, it would be okay to unlock the caps and even open cap blocks so long as we don't collect the caps, and it would be okay to talk to bob-omb buddies to unlock cannons so long as we didn't use the cannons. Doing these things could theoretically make a difference, such as if the workaround strat required standing on a tangible cap block or required transitioning into an air state using an open cannon hole. Fortunately though, it doesn't matter which definition we use, since the it ends up being the same which stars can be collected. To prove this, all the clips I show in the video actually adhere to the stricter definition, i.e. no caps or cannons have been unlocked.

Note that for several stars, there are actually multiple workaround strats. The workarounds that I show in the video are just the ones I happened to pick to do, not necessarily the fastest ones or the easiest ones.
