Sarah Taylor from the Institute of Genetics and Cancer at the University of Edinburgh won the 2020 competition with her article 'Curing the incurable: teaching an old drug new tricks to fight ovarian cancer':

Andy Ridgway is an award-winning journalist with over 20 years experience and a Senior Lecturer in Science Communication at UWE Bristol. Roger Highfield is the Science Director at the Science Museum, as well as an author, journalist and broadcaster.

The MRC Max Perutz Science Writing Award is in its 24th year, supporting current MRC PhD students to become tomorrow’s leaders in discovery science and encourage outstanding written communication.
