#NEDAwareness Week: Dr. Evelyn Attia Talks About Eating Disorders Awareness Efforts in Albany

A few weeks ago, the Columbia Center for Eating Disorders went on their annual trip to Albany, New York, on behalf of the Comprehensive Care Centers for Eating Disorders (CCCED). Members of our team met with state senators, assemblypersons, and lawmakers to educate and advocate for eating disorders research and funding. In this video, Dr. Evelyn Attia, Director of the Center for Eating Disorders, talks about the importance of this trip. This Eating Disorders Awareness week, we want to celebrate the many stories of individuals impacted by eating disorders and the level of clinical excellence that the state of New York supports, and that Columbia Psychiatry makes possible, which really does make a difference to so many lives. #NEDAwareness #ComeAsYouAre #NEDAW2019
