The Columbia Conference on Mental Health Journalism & Media is a symposium presented by Columbia’s School of Journalism and Department of Psychiatry for journalists as well as treatment professionals and researchers who communicate with the public on mental health and addiction issues. The first session, titled “I Walk the Line: Challenges and Rewards of a Psychiatrist/Journalist”, featured Dr. Richard A. Friedman.
