Honda Accord Replacement Remote Programming 1997 1007

NOTE: Point remote transmitter at the Accord door function control module (located in driver's door).

Within 4 seconds: Press LOCK button or UNLOCK button of first Accord remote transmitter.

Within 4 seconds: Switch Accord ignition OFF.

Within 4 seconds: Switch Accord ignition ON.

Repeat procedure above twice.

Within 4 seconds: Press LOCK button or UNLOCK button of first Accord remote transmitter.

System should now lock and unlock Accord vehicle to indicate remote programming mode activated.

Within 10 seconds:

Press LOCK button or UNLOCK button of first Accord remote transmitter, allowing doors to lock and unlock once.

Press LOCK button or UNLOCK button of each remaining Accord remote transmitter to be programmed, allowing doors to lock and unlock once as each remote transmitter is programmed.

Switch Accord ignition OFF.

Remove Accord key.

Check operation of all programmed remote transmitters
You can use this programming method on the following Honda keyless entry remotes (controls, transmitters, door openers, clickers or however you want to call those)
