Powerful Cyclone Batsirai Passing North of La Reunion

Powerful cyclone Batsirai remains a Category 4 cyclone North of La Reunion per the latest Meteo France bulletin. The storm is now slowly moving west and is forecast to make a potentially catastrophic landfall in Madagascar as an intense tropical cyclone. Red cyclone alerts are currently in place in La Reunion and Green cyclone alerts are in place for many areas in Madagascar.
