We’re all touched by design on a daily basis without realising it, and every person solves problems creatively in their own lives. Nairobi Design Week 2020 explored design together with the community under the theme 'Design Is for Everyone!'.

📸Blind Photography Project
👚Wanjiku Murigi: Studio HISI- Adaptive Clothing for the visually impaired.
🖼Yrimu Collection: 5 female artists curated by Wairimu Mwangi.
👩🏾‍🎨Afrorenaissance: Chela, Sogallo, Native & Caleb.
💳Andre_be_crae: Artworks made with old credit cards and SIM cards.
📙Quotmie: Kenyan made comics, stickers, notebooks and art.
🙌🏾LabelledHuman: We've all be labelled, but at the end of the day, we're all #LabelledHuman.

NAIROBI DESIGN WEEK is an all year COMMUNITY and annual FESTIVAL, with a creative AGENCY & STUDIO.

Our mission is to highlight the importance of all design disciplines and their impact on economic, social, cultural and environmental development. By sharing, collaborating and learning together with our community, we are creating business, employment, and education opportunities in design, while bringing Afrikan design to the world.

We also create special projects with their community by combining design thinking, industrial design and creative strategy. We created the Refugees Pavilion at the London Design Biennale 2018, attended by over 200,000 people, which was named in Dezeen’s top 10 installations from the event.
