The University of Arizona’s Class of 2020 Celebration

The University of Arizona’s Class of 2020 Celebration live on November 5, 2021 at 3 p.m. PT pre-show and ceremony at 4 p.m. PT. Class of 2020 graduates celebrate their achievements in front of Old Main for the first time in 100 years. President Robert C. Robbins, Ph.D., and Liesl Folks, Ph.D., Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, presiding. Marc Acuña, Senior Director for Alumni and Student Engagement, hosts the pre-show.

Speakers include:
• Sydney Hess, President Emerita, Associate Students of the University of Arizona
• Marie E. Teemant, President Emerita, Graduate & Professional Student Council
• Jessica Summers, Ph.D., Chair of the Faculty, The University of Arizona
• Alison Levine, History Making Adventurer and NYT Best Selling Author
• Ron Shoopman, Regent, Arizona Board of Regents
• Cecilia Mata, Regent, Arizona Board of Regents
• Nadia Alvarez Mexia, Ph.D., Faculty and Director of Transborder Education Initiatives, W.A. Franke Honors College and the College of Education

Featuring performances by Russell Ronnebaum, Pianist and Accompanist, and Naphtali Curry, Vocalist, B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from the University of Arizona.

The ceremony will end with recognition of Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degree graduates from the Class of 2020 following conferral of their degrees at the Spring 2020 University of Arizona Commencement on May 15, 2020.
