Honda Clarity Review

The Honda Clarity is a plug-in Hybrid with the ability to drive 76km on pure electric range with the ability of the 1.5l gasoline to act as a generator to provide more electricity or at higher speeds and when more power is required, drive the front wheels.The battery can be charged in 2.5 hours when using a 240V outlet or overnight on a regular household outlet. The Clarity Plug-In hybrid is a large car, larger than the new Accord with a big back seat and trunk but even though this looks like a hatchback it is actually a sedan. The Clarity is sold as a base model for $39,900 or the Touring at $43,900. The Touring adds leather seats and steering wheel, navigation to the 8-inch head unit and satellite radio. The base radio is also 8-inches with standard Apple Car Play and Android Auto with a backup camera. The Clarity is a 5-passenger sedan with standard heated front seats but there is no power operated driver' seats on the Touring model or a sunroof.
