I'm not "against" PED's in the absolute sense (though I do think the vast majority of muscle building trainees will be best off to stay natural), but what I most definitely AM against is bodybuilding beginners who go straight down the enhanced route right out of the gate. Guys who haven't even put in the time and effort to build up a solid fitness knowledge base and impressive natural physique first, and instead just reach straight for the gear to try and expedite the process. People are of course free to do whatever they want with their bodies, but in my opinion this is a very poor way to go about things and indicates a flawed mindset right from the start. These are the same dudes you see a few years down the line after they cycle off and then barely even look like they lift since they never really learned how to train and eat properly in the first place. In my opinion if you haven't been at this for at LEAST a solid 3-5+ years, truly learned the training and nutrition ropes and built up a good 80-90% of your natural bodybuilding potential then you shouldn't even be thinking about this stuff. If you can't build muscle and maintain it over the long term without chemical assistance then you're going down a dangerous path having to permanently rely on drugs to do it. See how far you can take things naturally first and then decide whether you think pushing the muscle growth envelope further is truly worth it. By that time you might have changed your mind. And let me reiterate that I think MOST people should simply stay natural indefinitely as I believe it's the physically and mentally healthier path for the majority - I'm just talking about the small % who will use at some point either because they compete or because bodybuilding is just genuinely a true passion they want to fully pursue and maximize (which is fine, but that only applies to tiny segment)
