Some moments of true pattern breaking here, and lack of awareness to the fact that I’m recording...love when that happens.

Yes, this is 5 and a half minutes of movement. Quite uncommon length of post to ask you to actually watch, but if you enjoy my process in anyway, it’s worth a few minutes of your time.

My self-care movement practice today is a mindful moment of creation in my personal dance space before I leave my home for a month.

Never heard this song, so I can enter a conversation that feels truly spontaneous with the music, and with myself. I let the temporary responsibility to the composers intention allow me to get in the back seat of my own ride, so to speak, to see where it takes me.

When I do this...emotions and energies that lie dormant or are ready to surface are allowed to come through. It can be a space holding, a release, a combination of many things.

Technique has moments...and so does the permission to surrender it. Both important.
