In high school my football coach had the team do gasser workouts like this after practice to ensure we had the cardiovascular strength to last for all four quarters of the game. I was always the fastest at the endurance part of the workout. Little did I know that was my strength and I ended up going NCAA D1 Track in Field to compete in the 800 meter dash in college.
