There is a proposal to build a tunnel across the Atlantic ocean. The project would stretch 3000 kilometers between Canada and Ireland and would be a submerged floating tunnel anchored to the seabed. With hyperloop technology, it would slash New York City to London to only five hours but would cost 12 trillion dollars and take over 100 years to build.
