Pacific Rim - Mako and Raleigh Re-Energizes Gypsy

Moments after Newton's mind melding with a Kaiju's brain, Raleigh is seen exiting his room after preparing for the trial run to test Gypsy Danger's new systems with a new pilot. Raleigh tries to do his second attempt on encouraging Mako to join him in the trial run, but he still remembered what Mako said about respect. So he saw fit to leave it to the Marshall to decide who it will be to pilot alongside with him.

Mako, in her room, was expecting Raleigh to knock on the door. But she was stunned to see that it turned out to be Stacker who knocked on her door as Raleigh already left a few moments ago. Stacker, knowing that this is the right time to give her daughter a chance into letting her participate the trial run which involves her neural link with Raleigh. This promise was held for longing as Stacker gives Mako back her red shoe which she wore while she was young.

Later, Gypsy Danger's detachable head is seen being supported and elevated up to the same floor on the pilots' quarters. Raleigh had already suited up in the drivesuit room and is now waiting for his new secondary pilot to come onboard Gypsy's head. He also prepared the conn-pods for use. Gypsy's artificial intelligence system notes Raleigh that a second pilot has entered the conn-pod.

Raleigh informs the pilot that this time, he'll take the right side of Gypsy's body. As he feared that his left arm might not be so strong to go in battle if Gypsy loses her left arm again. Surely enough, it turns out that Mako reveals herself to Raleigh in her drive suit. Raleigh is relieved to see his acquaintance ready for the test. Then moments later after Gypsy's head is attached to her body, Tendo notes the two Marshalls to get ready to witness this event.

As Gypsy, the last of her generation awakens with her new upgraded technology of a Mark-5 which makes her special. Raleigh gives Mako a short brief on how to use the neural link and warns her to not latch onto any memory. To learn the ability to trust the pilot she'll be fighting alongside with. And throwing aside the memories as to make it sound more easy.

Then, Tendo engages the drift between Raleigh and Mako as Gypsy's artificial intelligence helps the pair to know that the neural link is commencing. Raleigh closes his eyes and begins mind melding with Mako as their memories start to blend. After the drift is completed and resulted fine, it gives the pilots a slight kick backwards. Awakening them.

As of now, the two pilots are able to communicate in their minds so now they both know move they'll make to make Gypsy mimic the same movements. The pilots first raises their fists like in hand-to-hand combat. That proved that the drift so far became successful from that point on. Before Stacker could watch Gypsy function further, he is intercepted by Hermann as he informs Stacker that Newton had done the unthinkable. By intervening the Kaiju's mind using his drifting pons system that he found in Jaeger repair area of the Shatterdome.

Stacker became concerned as he later on followed Hermann to the laboratory where Newton is sitting there, slightly crippled from his interaction with that large brain. And... to be continued.

Alright!! I hope you guys enjoy the scenes so far, this probably will get you people ready for some action. But I still love the characters, I'm sorry. I uploaded full scenes and that's all I gotta say. It's reasonable enough. Ha ha, alright!
