Hippocrates Soup/ Immune Boosting and Nourishing Soup/ Gerson Therapy Component

Named after the father of medicine, this soup is one of the components of the Gerson therapy; which is a form of alternate therapy for cancer. It is very nutritious and believed to cleanse one’s kidneys. You don’t have to be sick to have this soup. We can all benefit from the goodness it has to offer!
Ingredients:

1 lb potatoes
1 1/2 lb tomatoes
1 large leek (you may use 2 small ones)
1 large onion
1 celery knob or 4-5 stalks celery
1 small parsley bunch (the root is recommended though)
Water (distilled recommended) to cover chopped ingredients in pot.
