UMD SPH Alumna Profile: Deliya Banda (Ph.D., '11)
Dr. Deliya Banda earned her Ph.D. in Behavioral and Community Health from the University of Maryland School of Public Health in 2011. To Deliya, public health means empowering people to make informed decisions about their health. She chose to pursue her Ph.D. at Maryland because of the School of Public Health's strong community connections and curriculum focused on applied community health work.
