Apple Store Michigan Avenue, Chicago

Browsing through Apple’s list of online locations one may observe that most of them have dropped the word “Store” with it’s store branding. This is mainly due to how Apple sees these locations more than just shopping hubs, they have focused greatly on community activities giving a feeling that one is directly interacting with the company and the brand rather than it being a retail outlet.
Apple Michigan Avenue is the first of a new generation of store designs that the company plans to adopt in most of it’s retail locations. Apple Michigan Avenue is hosting a year-round “Today At Apple” events that opens it’s doors to customers by teaching them new skills through their professional teams. Thus in the first part of this video there are customers learning these new skills and even children are being tutored on how to maximize their creative potential using an informal type of interaction.
