Bioethics Grand Rounds December- Anti-Racism at Michigan Medicine
Maintaining a culture of respect and tolerance is an ethical and moral imperative. Michigan Medicine has developed a task force to foster an inclusive culture of anti-racism by providing a framework, education, and tools so we feel safe when speaking up and showing solidarity against bias and discrimination. This presentation will introduce the Task Force's efforts to date, which focus on opportunities for conversations; education and clinical practice; diversifying the workforce; community work; and advocacy and professional development.
