In the TEDx Talk, Dr Margaret Korosec explores the role of education in developing human connection as a foundation for our emergent digital society. Margaret advocates for designing digital learning experiences that promote curiosity, experimentation, and meaningful technology use and emphasise the potential of innovation and digital education. Margaret Korosec is an innovative and strategic leader who brings creativity, intentionality, and a systems perspective to her role as Dean of Online and Digital Education at the University of Leeds, UK. In this position, she is responsible for scaling online and digital education, establishing a design ecosystem to support its growth, and enhancing the digitally-enabled student experience. Margaret oversees the Digital Education Service, which provides specialised support for online education, including learning design, development, production, and media management.
